I have so many to go through, but here are a couple new ones.

Vacuum and tooting
So last night, I started to sing and he didn't want me to sing the
regular songs. So I started singing the lullaby song. He just lied there
staring into my eyes while I sang to him. I reached up and started
stroking his cheek softly for a little bit. Then I removed my hand. He
reached down and grabbed my hand and put it back on his cheek. LOL. So I
kept singing and stroking his cheek and he fell fast asleep.
SO SWEET.
He loves the vacuum so he always points to the closet so I'll take the vacuum out. So we vacuumed yesterday, and he ran away, which is REALLY odd, because he loves to watch the vacuum. He came back a few seconds later with his little toy vacuum, and he ran his little vacuum alongside the big one. LOL. It was SO CUTE.
He is thinking tooting in the tub is really funny.
Every day is just something new, and he gets funnier and smarter every day.

Heart Meltingly Sweet
Every night, we have the same routine. After bath, we get his jammies
on, and lie down. We either look at a book or quietly play for a few
minutes. Then we tell the story of what we did today. This is really
cute. I recap everything we did that day, and he nods along. He nods
hard when it was something he really liked. LOL.
Then I sing to him. I sing the same songs every night. Then if he still doesn't want to sleep, I'll sing him the lullaby song ("Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep little Wyatt. Mommy loves you, yes she does, but you need to go to sleep. Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep little Wyatt... go to sleep, go to sleep, little Wyatt please sleep." )
So we did our thing tonight, and I sang his regular songs (not the lullabye one). He was rolling around a little, and suddenly he sat up, and plopped back down on my arm with sleepy eyes. He started making his "I want something" uh-uh-uh noise.
I said "What? Do you want me to sing?"
"Uh-uh-uh!"
(I laughed.) "Ok. What do you want me to sing? Oh this?"... and I started the go to sleep song. He nodded really hard, then immediately fell asleep. I melted and kept laughing while I was singing. He is so sweet.
He has been so much fun lately. We bought a swingset yesterday, and that is ALL he wants to do. He really likes swinging, and can sit in a swing for 30 minutes straight without wanting down.
He is running everywhere. And getting better and better at communicating. He always points to motorcycles and big rigs. He always points to US flags (still!) He has an amazing attention span and an even better memory. It is IMPOSSIBLE to redirect him if there is something he really wants to do. But I love that about him!
He thinks toots and burps are hilarious. And if you say "Are you trying to toot?", he will grunt and push!!!
He is obsessed with the little pull-down clothes hanger thing in the car. He likes for me to pull it down then up, and when he is getting out of his car seat, he always wants to do it before I remove him from the car.
He still likes the vacuum, along with brooms, mops, leaf blowers, and anything that makes noise. He copies the noise too... it's funny!
That's all for now. Just wanted to blog some of what is going on so I can remember later.

Boom boom boom
First of all, I feel AWESOME today. I've gotten so much done - cleaned
the patio, picked all the dog poop off the lawn (yuck!), cleaned the
kitchen and living room, mopped, vacuumed. Even cleaned that gross
recliner that all the cats like to sleep on. Wyatt helped me with most
of it too - he loves to vacuum.
Then I put Wyatt down for his nap, colored my hair, did a mud mask on my face, shaved my legs, and scraped/lotioned my feet.
I feel great!
Wyatt has another word - "Down." I guess it had to come after "Up", right? He also has been walking around saying "Boom boom boom" and imitates motorcycles and helicopters (they sound the same, in case you were wondering.)
Oops! He's awake! I guess I'll be back later.
Oh - he's also been off his sleepytime bottle since Friday! WOOHOO - no more formula or bottles!!!!

New words
Today, Wyatt said:
"No, no, no, no, no!"
"Gone"
"Did it!"
Three new words in one day! Wow.
His other words are:
"This"
"Dada"
"Mama"
"Die" (for Diamond the cat)
"Hot" (whispered)
"Uh oh"
"That" (he just started saying that one too)
"Up, up, up!"
"Out"
"Aaa-aa" (this means something because he says it a lot, but I haven't figured it out)
And of course, his famous "all done" sign. I still have to get that on video somehow.
