The paper Wyatt brought home from school said "Talk to your child about something that was very important to you that you never gave up on."
I read it aloud and didn't even have to say anything else.
Wyatt yelled "HAVING ME!"
Never giving up on something that was very important to me is a lesson I have taught him since he was born. And here are Wyatt and Aidan and Cara in Flagstaff...
Wyatt lost a tooth today. I just left him in his room. This was my evening: "Mom, can I come in your room? What if I wake up and see the tooth fairy? That's creepy! What if witches are real and the witch turns the tooth fairy into a witch? Where does the tooth fairy get the stuff she leaves for you? From her little teethy house? Does she break into stores? I want her to leave my present downstairs. Do you think the tooth fairy lives on a cloud? What do you think she looks like? I want to see her - well, not in real life - too creepy. But I want to see a picture."
